RRSP Withdrawal Applications

As part of your RRSP withdrawal application you may be required to sign the form as a sworn affidavit. This means that you must swear or affirm before a Notary Public, Commissioner or other person authorized to take affidavits that, to the best of your knowledge, the contents of the form are true and accurate.

We will be happy to assist you in this regard. We notarize and certify all kinds of documents including RRSP withdrawal applications. In most cases the job of Notary is to properly identify you, and witness you sign the document. For identification purposes, the Notary will require you to present a Government issued photo identification document such as a driver licence, passport, PR card, citizenship certificate or other similar document. The document must bear your full name and photograph.

By law, the person having their signature notarized must physically appear and sign in front of the Notary Public. If you are unable to bring an independent witness we can arrange someone from our office, which will cost you extra.

We also offer mobile notary service, in case you are unable to visit our office. Presently this services is only available in the GTA area with prior appointment. For further details please go to Mobile Notary page of this website.
