Statutory declarations

Statutory declaration is a statement of facts written down and attested to by the declarant (individual signing the declaration) before a notary public or oath commissioner. A statutory declaration has the same effect in law as a sworn statement or affidavit. A person who makes a false declaration can be charged with perjury under the Criminal Code.

In this case our fee will include document drafting fee and notarization cost. Alternatively, you can prepare the draft declaration yourself and bring final printed copy to our office for signature and commissioning/notarization.
